چکیده

This study was aimed to investigate the effects of L-carnitine (Car), creatine monohydrate (CrM) and their combination (CarCrM) as dietary antioxidants materials on productive performance, digestibility, ileal eubiosis, blood chemistry redox system stressed quails challenged by lead acetate (LA) in drinking water. In total, 600 were assigned into 5 treatments with 4 replications each 30 chicks per replication from 1 until 42 days old. The involved control (T1), treatment (adding 2.5 ppm LA water only; T2) adding 500 mg/kg Car+LA (T3), CrM+LA (T4) CarCrM (250 Car plus 250 CrM)+LA (T5). A completely randomized design followed analyze influences variables. comparison T2, results showed that T5 T4 had equivalent positive influence T3 increase (p≤0.05) body weight, feed intake, survivability, carcass yield digestibility accompanied lactic acid bacteria reduced total coliform, E.coli ileum. Also, increased levels glutathione peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, catalase serum ferric-reducing ability plasma obtained T4. Moreover, achieved low values efficiency lipid hydroperoxide, malondialdehyde, cortisol, aspartate transaminase, alanine aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase,gamma-glutamyl transferase, kinase creatinine. confirm or CrM mitigated stress reinforced antioxidant pool which reflected supported physiological aspects birds. Dietary seemed less powerful effect than but without negative compared treatment.

Effects of Artichoke (Cynara scolymus L.) Leaf Meal and Vitamin E on Productive Performance, Intestinal Microflora and Morphology in Japanese Quail

A total of 240, one-day-old quail chicks (Coturnix coturnix japonica) were used to study the effects of Artichoke leaf meal (ALM) and vitamin E in diet on growth performance, ileal microbial populations and intestinal morphology in a 42-d trial. This experiment was performed as a completely randomized design with 4 replicates of 15 quails each, using a 4 × 2 factorial arrangement with diet and ...
